Austin is 6 weeks old (we can't believe it!) and getting bigger each day now it seems! He is becoming very aware now of sights and sounds. He seems to love listening to music- it really gets him groovin! He is also trying really hard to find that thumb of his, and doing really well at picking up his head during tummy time. For the past few days we have been trying to work on extending his night time sleeping periods. Our doctor said he is plenty big enough to be on his way to sleeping through the night and he seemed to be moving backwards with shorter time periods there for a couple of days. This is not the most fun part John and I are realizing, so we welcome any suggestions!! Enjoy some of our latest pics below.....

He sure has grown. He is precious.
All newborns look like little old men sometimes! Emily used to have this drunk old man face after she'd nurse herself to sleep. Too funny. He's a real cutie.
We can't wait to hold him and squeeze him. The Petitts are so excited- Luke won't stop talking about our trip to Tampa!
