I forgot about Easter!

I just realized I forgot to post our Easter weekend pics...We had a great weekend and I have lots of pictures to show for it! Saturday, we did an Easter egg hunt that was followed by a touch a truck event in this little artsy community south of us called Gulfport. Needless to say, Austin LOVED every truck- he is especially into the garbage truck and the mail truck :) Sunday, before church the Easter bunny left Austin his basket of goodies and a baseball tee....check it out!

So they also had the rockstar area where the kids go actually go up on stage and play any of the instruments in the band- the kids loved it and it was a really good idea and pretty funny...

They also have a little beach in Gulfport so we walked on the beach and then hit the playground to finish out Austin's big day with the bunny!

Potty Training

So we have been potty training with Austin over the last week and all in all he has done really, really well! He seems to catch on to things really fast, so we have had very few accidents and he is now telling me when he has to go.....BUT, we are still a little freaked out about going #2 in the potty- we are working on that part though! Every time he goes on the potty, he gets an M&M so as you can imagine his new favorite word is M&M!!! Here are two pics of our proud little man in his new football undies.....

A Visit with Grandmother and Granddad....

We were so happy to finally get a visit with John's parents at the end of March! Austin had a great time and loved getting to spend the whole weekend with his grandmother and granddad!

They brought Austin this great little rocker that he loves to sit in and rock. It is a family heirloom from Carolyn's side that they had refinished for Austin.


We also got to spend a day with John's sister and her family as they were heading out from Tampa on a cruise. Here's Austin with his cousins Courtney and Craig.....


Austin just loved hanging out with Craig and Craig was so great with Austin- he helped him fly his kite and they played soccer!

Zoo Trip with a Friend....

One of my friends from my mom's group and I decided to take the two boys for a zoo trip recently. We decided we better get all of our zoo trips in now before it is just too hot here. It was funny to watch the boys together and they had a great time- especially in the children's water area!

Crawfish Fest

I think this picture says it all.....We went to the crawfish festival last weekend for some good food, good music, and BEER! Let me tell you Austin just loves, loves, LOVES zydeco music- he had a ball!
