Ray's Game

The main doctor at the eye center where John is working is the team doctor for the Tampa Bay Rays, so once in a while he gives his season ticket seats to the employees, so John got the tickets two sundays ago and we got to take Austin to see them play the Indians- a nice little job perk! Austin is completely into baseball so he L_O_V_E_D it and we actually made it all the way until the 7th inning....

Mother's Day

Hope all the mom's enjoyed their mother's day this year! John made me a delicious breakfast of homemade crepes and then he decided to tap into my creative side and take us on Sunday for a morning of painting our own pottery in Hyde Park....which was interesting for mom and dad with a 2 year old! We managed to finish a couple pieces and made it out without breaking anything too! :) That night we went to dinner at Cracker Barrel- for some reason I had been wanting to go there and I don't think I've been since my good ol' Hattiesburg days......I LOVE,LOVE,LOVE my husband for all the thought and effort he put into my mom's day and my little boy who loves to challenge his mama and be so darn cute!

We made, or actually I should say John and Austin made(!!!), a special birthday plate for Austin to use on his birthday each year. I always see these and had wanted one for him....

Graduation Party

My friend Leah had a graduation party for her husband Ricky about 2 weeks ago and here are a few pics.....Leah and her mom were so great swimming with the boys in their pool and their daughter Jocelyn is getting so big- and she is just too cute!

They have train rides once a month on this small scale railroad that runs through Largo Central Park here, so we took Austin again because he just loved the ride the first two times so much!

My first bloody accident.....austin slipped on a magazine on our tile floor this past weekend and busted his lip. Poor guy, he really got it good too! The first of many to come I am sure, which scares the you know what out of me!

Visit from Grammy....

Grammy got me this awesome basketball hoop and it is my new prized possesion! Of course, Austin just loves this thing because it involves a ball! As he likes to say "dunk!" and "hoops!"

I forgot about Easter!

I just realized I forgot to post our Easter weekend pics...We had a great weekend and I have lots of pictures to show for it! Saturday, we did an Easter egg hunt that was followed by a touch a truck event in this little artsy community south of us called Gulfport. Needless to say, Austin LOVED every truck- he is especially into the garbage truck and the mail truck :) Sunday, before church the Easter bunny left Austin his basket of goodies and a baseball tee....check it out!

They also have a little beach in Gulfport so we walked on the beach and then hit the playground to finish out Austin's big day with the bunny!
