John's Birthday

John had his "thirtysomethingish" birthday last friday so I wanted to post some pics from the weekend....we had dinner, birthday cake (homemade i might add!), and presents (which i will also add Austin has become EXCELLENT at opening presents these days and VERY excited when they turn up) on friday. Then saturday morning we went to this great market they have each weekend here downtown, and actually found a great little cajun restaurant that had a booth set up. John and I were both excited to now have GOOD poboys in FL......Saturday night John and I actually got to have a real date- dinner AND a movie! We think it may have been 18 mos. since we did that! We saw Marley and Me, which I highly recommend to both parents and dog lovers- it may be a new favorite of ours. We had a great weekend together and Happy, Happy Birthday to my fabulous husband!! I love you! xoxoxo

We went to visit and play this morning with my friend leah and her baby, Jocelyn. We had a great time and here's the one pic I got of Austin giving her a great big hug....ok, maybe just a little too tight!

Trip to the Zoo.....

My parents got us annual passes for the zoo this year for Christmas, so we were really excited. Austin totally loves animals so this is the perfect gift for him! My parents had not been to the zoo with Austin yet, so we all took a trip there while grammy and grampy were here......

Congrats Frohnerath Family!

We had our first visit with our good friends Leah and Ricky's new baby girl Jocelyn just a few weeks ago....she is so tiny and I just don't remember Austin being so small! This was Austin's first baby encounter and he did great- we kept telling him for a few days before they visited us that a baby was going to come to our house, so he picked up on the word "baby" and learned how to say it just to impress Jocelyn! Leah and Ricky are going to be such great parents, and Leah didn't even look tired (YET!!) Congrats to their new little family!

John went to college in Charleston, SC and is a Gamecocks fan....No, he is no longer a fan of Spurrier and after the way they played in the Outback bowl here last weekend he may not be a South Carolina fan any longer... BUT here are the two boys dressed in their gear pre-game!!

We are back into the swing of things and hope everyone had a wonderful holiday....My parents came down this year for a week and a half and we had a great visit with them and Asutin really enjoyed having Grammy and Grampy here for Christmas. I have quite a few pictures from their visit so here it goes......
